Join for weekend silent retreat in the heart chakra of the world. The perfect introduction to silent retreats, for those wanting to explore silence and deepen their meditation practices, but not quite ready for a 10 day Vipassana.
The retreat begins with intention, feeling supported to release, to journey within, creating deep profound connection with ourselves, our inner awareness and others.
Your retreat guide, Pip, a certified ritual facilitator, senior yoga teacher, sound healer and meditation teacher, will lead you through this powerful life enhancing experience.
We will create a sacred space in our unique retreat location, where personal growth, authentic connection, and deep processing become possible.

Powerful Ceremony and Shadow exploration
The rituals, sharing circles and ceremonies lay the foundation to exploring our shadow parts and heart awareness. These inner explorations support the silent meditation practices. The combination is a profound experience, the weekend will be a powerful immersion in the healing space, facilitated carefully and lovingly to meet you where you are and to open new possibilities for connection and personal expansion.
Noble Silence and digital detox
The retreat rituals, meditations and daily practices are carefully cultivated to hold the space for a deep exploration of 48hrs of mandatory silence. The stillness and time spent together is profound with no phones, no books, a complete digital detox. You are required to hand in your phone for the duration of the retreat and to support each other in noble silence.

This is a magical venue with rural views of Glastonbury Tor, steeped in history, yet with a sense of indulgence and comfort. Located in idyllic village of E Horrington surrounded by beautiful country walks only a 15 minute drive to the historic and spiritual Glastonbury, with charming cathedral city Wells less than 2 miles away. A stunning Grade II listed 19th century church with a hot tub, glass wood-burner and luxurious 44 ft kitchen in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
LUXURY SURROUNDINGS
You enter via the inauspicious original vicar's entrance then emerge into the large central nave with 30 foot ceilings and view of the original 1830 stained glass windows.
STUNNING WINDOWS
Though this venue is utterly unique and historic it holds luxury touches such as an outdoor hot tub, a wood burning hearth and spacious areas to relax and rest.

With cosy places to rest
The large living room is the showpiece of the house. It has 20 foot high vaulted ceilings, a large central wood burning hearth, and an original exposed stone wall with leaded windows offering a beautiful view across unbroken countryside to Glastonbury Tor in the distance.
The Food
We will have nourishing, wholesome and delicious food throughout our stay.
Nourishing meals
With vegan and Vegetarian options, breakfast options, for example granola, yoghurts, fruit and nuts. Lunch will be a more substantial nourishing meal.
Think vegetarian curries and naan breads and supper a hearty soup or stew with sourdough bread and cheeses. All meals will be buffet style and we will try to support allergies as best we can. If you have a serious nut allergy or concerns please contact us before booking.

The stunning Gothic Church has fabulous interiors throughout, all modern conveniences including 3 bathrooms with roll top bath, luxurious showers and a hot tub in its own wood cabin in the private courtyard garden. All bathrooms are shared, 3 bathrooms - 2 showers, 3 toilets, and 1 roll top bath.
